Dr Eleanor Wort will be presenting the results of her research among Hull’s church leaders, exploring how God was at work in Hull in 2017 and how God relates to wider human culture. There will be opportunities to discuss with church leaders and fellow Christians how you saw God at work in Hull in 2017, and ask how the legacy of 2017 can help churches engage in God’s mission to the city.
Eleanor is a Tutor for Church Army, training lay people in mission and evangelism. Her PhD with Leeds Trinity University examined theologies of culture in Hull 2017, and prior to that research, Eleanor was communications officer for the Diocese of York.
