Visiting Scarborough Deanery as part of our Come and See Mission (12-15 March) was the Bishop of Jarrow, Bishop Sarah Clark, and John Carter went to meet her there on the Saturday.
Among her many invitations, Bishop Sarah took part in a Come and See Prayer Walk up to the heights of Olivers Mount overlooking the town and sea.
The clouds cleared for a beautiful if chilly view (well, it was March) where she and her fellow walkers stopped to pray over the town.
“We are encouraging the churches in sharing their faith and I have been part of many activities, but here we will be praying for God’s blessing on this town as we gather together.”
