On the Friday of our Come & See Mission, schools across the Diocese experienced an influx of bishops who were both welcomed and grilled
- Lorna Heatley followed two of them.

The day started early with a visit to Holderness Academy with Bishop David James. A few eager students arrived bright and early to meet the Bishop ahead of a tour around the school, followed by a very pyrotechnic display in a science lesson.

Bishop of Carlisle, the Rt Revd James Newcome enjoyed a thorough grilling from the students at Warthill Church of England Primary School. As with all questions fired by children, these ranged from the easy to answer (“Why do we stay up late on New Years Eve?”) to questions that have had the most hardened Theologians scratching their heads for hundreds of years.

Bishop James fielded the questions admirably, answering them all in a way that kept the kids interested in what he had to say.
