Another glimpse of our Diocesan ‘Come and See’ Mission (12-15 March) this year: many of those involved in the Mission in Southern Ryedale Deanery came together on Sunday morning at St Peter’s, Norton, with Bishop of Warrington Beverley Mason from the Diocese of Liverpool joining Vicar Rachel Hirst and Curate Ben Gunter in leading a celebration service. Martin Sheppard joined the happy throng.

Area Dean Chris Wingfield highlighted just some of the astonishing range of events over the last couple of days, including Forest Church, Walking Church, Spa Church, with participants telling stories of how they’d brought guests with them and found a real openness to explore the reason for doing these things.

Bishop Beverley said, “It’s been brilliant to see so many imaginative events – just like the Apostle Andrew, people have been inviting others to Come and See and taste that the Lord is here – tremendous events all over the place!”
