As part of Christian Aid Week the children of Lythe C of E Primary School have been thinking about what life must be like as a refugee as well as looking at the dangerous and desperate journeys children and their families have to make in order to reach a place of safety.

The week was rounded off with a ‘Big Breakfast’ prepared by the Seashells breakfast club staff. Families, friends and the local community sat down together and shared bacon buns, cereals, toast, tea and coffee.

A total of £127.75 was raised and donated to Christian Aid.
