St Andrew’s Church in Ulrome near Bridlington has undergone an incredible restoration over recent years, and on the Saturday of our Come and See Mission (12-15 March), Lorna Heatley arrived to see Bishop Graham Cray bless their renovated tower clock and path to the church.

The service saw the church filled with people from around the village – some of whom had never been in the church before!

Bishop Graham expounded on the importance of a working clock for the church tower, not just to “tell people the time as a matter of service”, but also to remind the community of “God’s time and the significance of knowing and following him”.

He quoted from Psalm 23: “he guides me in paths of righteousness,” when dedicating the new path to the church.
