The Revd Tina Burgess, Assistant Curate of Redcar, has been appointed as Vicar of St Martin of Tours with St Cuthbert Middlesbrough. She will be collated by the Bishop of Whitby at 7.00pm on Monday, 15th February 2021 via Zoom.

The Revd Christopher Coates, Vicar of Bishopthorpe, and Acaster Malbis & Appleton Roebuck with Acaster Selby, retired with effect from 31 December 2020.

The Revd Jackie Doyle-Brett, Vicar of York St Luke and Diocesan Adviser for Young Vocations, has been appointed as Priest-in-Charge of the Benefice of Derwent Ings. Her final service at St Luke's will be on the 7th February, and she will be licensed by the Bishop of Selby at 7.30pm on 24th February 2021 via Zoom.

The Revd Ruthi Banbury Gibbons, Assistant Curate of Dringhouses, York, has resigned with effect from 10th February 2021.

The Revd Toby Gibbons, Assistant Curate of York St Chad and of York St Clement with St Mary Bishophill Senior, has resigned to be Oversight Minister in the East Central Rotherham Mission Area and Priest in Charge of St James, Clifton in the Diocese of Sheffield with effect from 10 February 2021.

The Revd Ben Gunter, Assistant Curate of Norton juxta Malton, has been appointed as Priest-in-Charge of the Benefice of Stokesley with Seamer. He will be licensed by the Bishop of Whitby in St Peter and St Paul, Stokesley, on Wednesday, 3rd March 2021.

The Revd David Haddon-Reece, Distinctive Deacon (SSM) of Lastingham with Appleton-le-Moors, Rosedale and Cropton, has been re-appointed for a fixed-term of two years.

The Revd Pam Macnaughton, Pioneer Minister of Appleton Roebuck with Acaster Selby, Acaster Malbis, and Bishopthorpe, has resigned with effect from 30th November 2020.

The Revd David Rogers, Team Rector of the Marfleet Benefice, Hull, has been appointed as Assistant Minister of Escrick and Stillingfleet with Naburn, and Bubwith with Skipwith. He will be licensed by the Bishop of Selby at 7.30pm on 10 February 2021 via Zoom.

The Revd Bob Sidgwick, Distinctive Deacon (SSM) of Thirsk, has been re-appointed for a fixed-term of two years.

The Revd Hannah Suekarran, (Assistant Curate of the Benefice of Brayton), has resigned with effect from 31st December 2020. The Archbishop has granted Mrs Suekarran Permission to Officiate from that date until 30th June 2021.

The Revd Fran Wakefield, Priest in Charge of York St Hilda, will retire with effect from 22nd February 2021. Her final service was on Sunday, 31st January 2021.

The Revd Adam Young, who holds the Archbishop’s Permission to Officiate, has been appointed as Assistant Minister (SSM) of North Ferriby. He will be licensed by the Bishop of Hull in a private ceremony via Zoom on Thursday, 25 February 2021.
