The Revd Jennifer Buckler, Assistant Curate of Widcombe in the Diocese of Bath & Wells, has been appointed as Interim Priest-in-Charge of the Benefice of Norton juxta Malton for a period of three years.

The Revd Martin Faulkner, Vicar of the South Holderness Coast, will resign with effect from Wednesday, 16 February 2022. He has been appointed as Priest in Charge of the Revel Group Benefice in the Diocese of Coventry. His final service will on be Sunday, 16th January 2022.

The Revd Katie Franks, Assistant Curate of the Benefice of Cople, Moggerhanger and Willington in the Diocese of St Albans, has been appointed as Vicar of Coxwold and Husthwaite, and Rector of Crayke with Brandsby and Yearsley (the Byland Churches). She will be instituted by the Bishop of Selby at 7.30pm on Thursday, 16th December 2021.

The Revd Andrew Greiff, Team Vicar of Shelf with Buttershaw St Aidan in the Diocese of Leeds, has been appointed as Priest-in-Charge of Redcar. He will be licensed by the Bishop of Whitby in St Peter’s, Redcar at 7.00pm on Saturday, 27th November 2021.

The Revd Kate Jamie, Chaplain to HMP Kirklevington, resigned with effect from 28th September 2021.

The Revd Dr Ian McIntosh, formerly with the National Ministry Team, London, was appointed as Director of Mission and Ministry with effect from 31 August 2021. He will be licensed by the Archbishop of York on Thursday, 18th November 2021 in Bishopthorpe Palace Chapel.

The Revd Shena Moray, Assistant Curate of Cloughton and Burniston held in plurality with Newby St Mark, has been appointed as Vicar of the Scarborough St Luke and Scarborough St Mark, Newby. She will be collated by the Bishop of Hull in the Parish Church of St Mark, Newby on Tuesday, 16th November 2021 at 7.30pm.

The Revd Nick Morgan, Priest in Charge of Bramham, has been appointed by the Bishop of Selby to be Area Dean of New Ainsty for a period of five years with effect from 4th November 2021. He succeeds the Reverend Geoff Mumford who has held the position since 2015.

Hannah Smith, Interim Leader of G2, York, was Commissioned as Leader of G2, York Mission Initiative by the Bishop of Selby on 24th October 2021.

The Ven Mark Steadman, formerly Archdeacon of Stow and Lindsey in the Diocese of Lincoln, has been appointed as Chief of Staff to the Archbishop of York.

The Revd Rob Suekarran, Multiply Minister for Brayton, has been appointed Associate Vicar of the Most Holy and Undivided Trinity, Kingston upon Hull (Hull Minster). He will be licensed by the Bishop of Hull at 7.00pm on Wednesday, 8th December 2021.

The Revd Danny Walker, Priest in Charge of Easington with Liverton, will retire with effect from Sunday, 2nd January 2022. His final service will be Sunday, 2nd January 2022 at 10.00am in All Saints' Church, Easington.

The Revd Paulie Watkin, Team Vicar in the Witham and Villages Team Ministry, and Leader of the Pilgrim Rivers Mission and Ministry Unit in the Diocese of Chelmsford, has been appointed as Assistant Curate (incumbent designate) of Tadcaster. The licensing by the Bishop of Selby will be held at 7.30pm on Tuesday, 16th November 2021 in the Parish Church of St Mary’s, Tadcaster; the induction as Vicar of the Benefice of Tadcaster by the Bishop of Selby will be held at 2.30m on Monday, 13th December 2021 in the Parish Church of St Mary’s, Church Fenton.

The Revd Canon John Weetman, Vicar of Selby St Mary (Selby Abbey), has been appointed by the Bishop of Selby to be Area Dean of Selby for a period of five years with effect from 22nd November 2021. He succeeds the Revd Canon Chris Wilton who has held the position since 2006.

The Revd Anne White, Priest in Charge of Aldbrough and Mappleton with Goxhill and Withernwick, will retire with effect from Sunday, 9th January 2022. Her final service will be on Sunday, 9th January 2022.The Revd Canon Tricia Wick, Pioneer Minister for the Longhill Bishop’s Mission Order, Hull, will retire with effect from 30th April 2022. Her final service will be on 29th April 2022.

The Revd Irene Wilson, Assistant Curate of Kingston Upon Hull, Holy Trinity (Hull Minster), has been reappointed for a period of two years. She will be Licensed by the Bishop of Hull on Tuesday, 26th November 2021 in Hullen House.

The Revd Dr Jenny Wright, Associate Rector of Christ Church, Morningside in the Diocese of Edinburgh, has been appointed as Domestic Chaplain to the Archbishop of York. She will be licensed by the Archbishop of York on Thursday, 18th November 2021 in Bishopthorpe Palace Chapel.
