The Revd Canon Angela Bailey, until recently Mustard Seed Programme APL and Tutor for the York School of Ministry, has been appointed as On-Call Chaplain to the York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. She will be licensed by the Archdeacon of the East Riding via Zoom at 9.00am on Wednesday, 28 July 2022.

The Revd Rachael Garland, who holds the Archbishop’s Permission to Officiate, has been appointed as part-time Associate Minister of Acomb St Stephen for a fixed term to 31 July 2024. The licensing by the Bishop of Selby will be held via Zoom at 3.00pm on Monday, 25th July 2022.

The Revd David Hobman, Assistant Curate (Distinctive Deacon) of York, All Saints, Pavement with St Crux and St Michael Spurriergate; York St Olave with St Giles; York, St Helen Stonegate with St Martin Coney Street; York St Denys; York St Lawrence with St Nicholas; York Holy Trinity, Micklegate), has been reappointed for a period of two years. The licensing by the Bishop of Selby will be held on Monday, 25 July 2022 at 4.00pm via Zoom.

The Revd Barbara Hodgson, Assistant Curate, House for Duty, of the Benefice of Rudston, Boynton, Carnaby, Kilham, Burton Fleming with Fordon, Grindale and Wold Newton, has been reappointed for a period of two years. She will be relicensed by the Archdeacon of the East Riding in a private ceremony at Brimley Lodge on Tuesday, 20th September 2022 at 11.30am.

The Revd Judith Lindsey, Assistant Curate (Distinctive Deacon) of Huntington, has been reappointed for a period of two years. The licensing by the Bishop of Selby will be held at 4.00pm on Monday, 25th July 2022 via Zoom.

The Revd Matthew Pollard, Rector of Bridlington Priory and Area Dean of Bridlington, has resigned to be Canon Chancellor of Ripon Cathedral in the Diocese of Leeds with effect from Saturday, 17 September 2022. His final service will be on Sunday, 4th September 2022 in Bridlington Priory.

The Revd Charles Razzall, Vicar of North Thornaby, will retire with on the 31st October 2022.

The Revd Simon Smale, Vicar of Fylingdales and Hawsker cum Stainsacre, will retire on the 30th September 2022. His final service will be at 10.00am on Sunday, 11th September 2022 in St Stephen’s, Fylingdales.

The Revd Barry Worsdale, Priest in Charge, House for Duty of North Cave with Cliffe and of Hotham, has been re-appointed for a fixed-term of two years. He will be Licensed by the Archdeacon of the East Riding at 11.30am on Monday, 5th September 2022 at a private ceremony in Brimley Lodge.
