We regret to inform you that the Ven Michael Bowering and the Revd Canon Ronald Marchant have died.

The Venerable Michael Ernest Bowering died on Saturday, 25 April. Mr Bowering was Curate at All Saints Huntington (1962 - 1964), Vicar of St Wilfred's Brayon (1964 - 1972) and Vicar of Emmanuel Church Saltburn (1972 - 1981). He was the Diocese's Mission Strategy Development Officer and a Residentiary Canon at York Minster from 1981 to 1987, when he became Archdeacon of Lindisfarne. He retired in 2000 to the Diocese, where he had the Archbishop's Permission to Officiate. Mr Bowering was 79 and is survived by his wife, Aileen and three children, Paul, Alice and Joanne.

Mr Bowering's funeral will be at the Parish Church of St John the Baptist and All Saints, Easingwold, North Yorkshire YO61 3JU at 11.30am on Monday 11th May.

The Revd Canon Ronald Albert Marchant, who was resident at Dulverton Hall, Scarborough, died on 15 April 2015.
