Shipton by Beningbrough Forest of Galtres Anglican/Methodist Primary Academy has achieved a 'Good' in its most recent Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMS) report.

With the Christian vision of being 'rooted and grounded in love', the school 'aims to grow out children socially, emotionally, and academically'. This school is adhering well to this vision, according to the report, which states that the vision 'enables every member of the school community to feel welcomed and valued.

The report also praised the invitation and imaginative collective worship and prayer which are enhanced by the roll of the chaplain.

The principal objective of the SIAMS inspection is to evaluate the distinctiveness and effectiveness of the school as a church school, and how well the distinctive Christian character and ethos of the school ensure the development and achievement of the whole child or young person.
