It is with great sadness that the Sisters of the Order of the Holy Paraclete have announced the death of the Prioress, Sr Carole O.H.P. who died peacefully on 8th March 2019.
“Sister Carole’s death is a great loss to the world and to the Order of the Holy Paraclete. With them, we give thanks that she is now with her Lord whom she has served with such devotion for all her life.
“Sister Carole was a model of obedient service for us all; her work in Swaziland before her election as Prioress was both inspirational and superbly practical, offering a safe home to abused and abandoned girls while enfolding them in prayer.
"The wonderful new Priory in Whitby, built to welcome visitors and to be a suitable home for all the sisters, will stand as a tribute to her diligence and her prayerful care for all the community.
“I join the Order and all their friends in praying that Sister Carole will rest in peace, and rise in glory.”
