South Kilvington Church of England Primary School has achieved a 'Good' in their most recent Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMS) report.

This school has based it's Christian Vision off Jesus' teaching in John 10:10; "I came that they might have life - life in all its fullness". This is a teaching that, according to the SIAMS report, is reflected in the senior leaders with their 'passionate advocacy of equality and inclusion for all pupils so that the vast majority flourish'.

The report also noticed the relationships between the church and the school, noting that the connection facilitates the pupils' 'experience, appreciation, and understanding of Christian worship and belief'.

The church is also not the only thing with which the school has a strong partnership, commenting on the diocesan and local partnerships which 'ensure that the governing body is well informed on Church school initiatives'.

The principal objective of the SIAMS inspection is to evaluate the distinctiveness and effectiveness of the school as a church school, and how well the distinctive Christian character and ethos of the school ensure the development and achievement of the whole child or young person.
