A Middlesbrough church is hosting a hustings meeting for candidates standing in the General Election in the Middlesbrough Parliamentary Constituency.

Bishop of Whitby the Rt Revd Paul Ferguson will chair the meeting at St Barnabas' Church, Linthorpe TS5 6JR at 6.30pm on Wednesday 4th December.

Everyone who lives, works, or studies in the constituency is welcome to attend.

St Barnabas' Curate the Revd Mark Walley says, "We’re doing it because we believe that part of the command to love our neighbour includes listening to different perspectives and thinking through who we vote for.

"We’re glad that we’ve got the opportunity to welcome the candidates in and hear directly from them what their vision is for Middlesbrough and the UK."

Attendees will be asked to submit questions from 6:30pm before the debate starts at 7.00pm.
