The Diocese of York has launched two new fortnightly newsletters to keep you informed on news and events.

The first, The Journal, is the new fortnightly email bringing news from the Diocese of York.

It goes to all those who hold office in the Diocese as clergy, ministers, church or PCC officers; if you’d like to receive it, you can subscribe here. Everything on The Journal will also feature on the website, so if you’re not getting the full story, you can follow the link.

In the alternate fortnights, we’ll send an email called The Briefing of coming events and new resources to those who have signed up to our current ‘eNews’, which it replaces.

This is an exciting time in the life of the Diocese of York; new ventures are coming on stream such as Multiply, our outreach to those in their 20s, 30s and 40s, and the work of the Generous Giving team, formed in response to the needs expressed in 2016 for parishes to achieve sustainable finances.

The process of finding a successor for Archbishop Sentamu is under way; meanwhile, he will be leading the ‘Come And See’ mission to this Diocese from the 12th to the 15th March 2020.

Don’t forget that The Journal is just one of several ways you can keep up with news in the Diocese of York – we’re on Facebook, Twitter, and of course you can find a wealth of useful information, news and resources at www.dioceseofyork.org.uk.
