Wilberfoss Church of England Primary School has received a 'Good' in their most recent Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMS) report.

A large primary school, Wilberfoss CE Primary's Christian vision means the school 'strives to believe in ourselves... grow as people... achieve, and shine'. This is a vision which, according to the SIAMS findings, it has embraced, causing all those in the school to sustain the 'swift pace of improvement'.

The report also praised the 'warm, respectful relationships and positive, caring support flow' as well as the 'carefully planned and delivered inclusive daily worship'.

The principal objective of the SIAMS inspection is to evaluate the distinctiveness and effectiveness of the school as a church school, and how well the distinctive Christian character and ethos of the school ensure the development and achievement of the whole child or young person.
