The Revd Dr Catherine Reid (formerly Vicar of Ampleforth Benefice and a Clergy Training Adviser for Cleveland Archdeaconry) was licensed as Chaplain to the University of York on St Matthew’s Day, 21st September, at St Paul’s Church in Heslington close to the University Campus.

Pictured outside St Paul's are Bishop of Selby Dr John Thomson (centre) with Catherine (right) and her new colleagues; (from left) Paula Tunbridge (Director of Student Life and Well-being at the University of York), the Revd John Schofield (Methodist Chaplain) and Fr Kevin Melody (Roman Catholic Chaplain).

"I'm looking forward to this new ministry to the student and staff community," said Catherine; we keep her, her husband Andrew and their two children, Juliette and Alexander, in our prayers.
