The Weddings Project is all about growing churches. As more and more couples choose to marry outside the church, the Weddings Project allows churches to compete with other wedding venues, and, more importnantly, helps churches make sure people who get married in their church become part of the church family.

The Weddings Project has so far trained over 3,500 vicars in 33 dioceses, and equipped the Church with a miscellany of never-before devised resources. The Project outlines the seven key opportunities the Church has to build relationships with marrying couples over the two-and-a-half year period between engagement and first anniversary: The First Call, The First Meeting, Space to Think, Reading the Banns, The Big Day, The Warm Glow, First Anniversary.
