Guarding the Gateway to Working with Children and Young People

The CCPAS is delighted to invite you to the 'Safer Recruitment: Guarding the Gateway to Working with Children and Young People' event.

This special half-day workshop event is aimed at those responsible for the recruitment, management or supervision of children, young people or vulnerable adults workers in faith settings and faith-based organisations. During the workshop, you will explore a range of issues including the key elements of safer recruitment, DBS process, managing 'blemished' disclosures and managing allegations against workers. The CCPAS is delighted to have Lynn Gavin from the DBS presenting with them again at this event.

The aim of the event is to equip delegates with the latest information regarding safer recruitment practices that will ensure a greater understanding of this ever-changing landscape and greater opportunities to be effective in our safeguarding vulnerable people.
