Enabling Flourishing in the Curriculum

For Headteachers and Senior Leaders

In response to the publication of the Church of England’s Vision for Education, ‘Deeply Christian, Serving the Common Good’ and in light of the themes in the new SIAMS and Ofsted frameworks, we will be hosting three days focusing on developing a flourishing curriculum. Following a launch day on vision and intent, subsequent days will take a different theme and give participants the opportunity to reflect on their current practice and work with others to help develop curriculum, in line with the Christian vision for the school.

Further days and themes will be explored in the 2020/21 training offer culminating in a curriculum focused conference in 2021 to share experience and best practice.

The vision and intent day is aimed specifically at Headteachers and Senior Leaders, whilst for the subsequent days, senior leaders are welcome to bring phase or subject leads with them.
