The Heritage Coast Federation, consisting of Hawsker-cum-Stainsacre Primary School and Fylingdales Primary School, are seeking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant to start in September 2024. This fixed term position is 25 hours per week, term time only, working in a General Teaching Assistant Role, with an additional 5 hours per week running the Breakfast Club, from 7.50am until 8.50am. There are additional hours available to work in our After School club, running the clubs from 3.15pm until 4.15pm and occasionally until 5pm. The successful candidate will be predominantly based at Hawsker-cum-Stainsacre Primary School, working alongside the class teachers in both classes; however candidates must be prepared to work flexibly across the federation should the need arise.
The Heritage Coast Federation schools have a supportive, hardworking staff; bringing together two village schools under one Executive Head Teacher and one Governing Body. Our Federation brings lots of opportunities for collaboration, development and professional expansion. We are a warm, inclusive family school with a strong Christian ethos, a sense of community and a commitment to excellence for all of the children in our care. We aim to ensure that our children feel safe, happy and achieve their potential as a unique individual and as a learner. Christian values are at the heart of all that we do and the school’s Christian vision of ‘Flourish, Succeed and Let Your Light Shine’ is embedded in the daily life of the school.
We expect the very best from our children and in return, we aim to give them the very best education. In this way, you will need to be:
• Determined and inspirational; demonstrating passion and love for the children you work with;
• Able to work collaboratively and flexibly as an effective team player;
• Highly passionate and creative with good organisational skills;
- Committed to high-standards and high expectations
- Willing to support the Christian ethos of the school
- Willing to learn and be keen to access CPD to further develop understanding of how to effectively support the progress of our amazing children.
In return, we can offer:
• Motivated children who show excellent behaviours, a thirst for learning and are encouraged by their supportive parents;
• A high-performing, dedicated and professional team
• A commitment to outstanding professional development with cross-Federation opportunities.
- A warm, collegiate and supportive environment in which to work, learn and develop
Although the post is mainly based at Hawsker-cum-Stainsacre Primary School, successful candidates will be offered a Federated contract which means that they have the capacity to experience both schools and may be asked to work in either school.
