For Curates in the Diocese of York (years 1-4)
Wydale Hall
Friday 15 - Sunday 17 January 2016

All too often ministry can seem as if we are hurtling through life like an express train. We have no time to pause at a station for refreshment. We race towards our destination, as weary dishevelled travellers, not as eager, enthusiastic, explorers seeking God’s kingdom.

This weekend gives us time and space to pull into the station to receive spiritual refreshment in order to make the vital connections between everyday life and faith.

Our speakers will guide us on a journey of exploration that will equip us with the means to make Cross Connections. Speakers include:

  • The Revd Andrew de Smet, Archbishops Advisor and Coordinator of Pastoral Care
  • Sr Janet Elizabeth of the Order of the Holy Paraclete
  • The Revd Stephen Brown, film critic for the Church Times.

We should return to our home stations equipped with information to share with our fellow travellers as we continue to journey together.
