‘Faith in the Future’ is a unique event to inspire and encourage young people to develop successful lives and careers in the North East and will be attended by TV presenter ‘Restoration Man’ George Clarke who will be looking back over his own career as an architect.

The event is sponsored and organised by Premier Christian Media‘s North East office and will be staged at Newcastle Christian Life Centre, in Corporation Street, on the afternoon of Friday, April 25th 2014 from 1-00pm through to 3-00pm with music by the YMT band with Cody Kettner.

George Clarke, who is probably best known for his Channel 4 series ‘The Home Show’, ‘The Restoration Man’ and ‘George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces’, was born in Sunderland, brought up in nearby Washington, left school at sixteen and found a job with a firm of local architects. He studied building and construction before gaining a First Class BA Honours in Architectural Studies from Newcastle University.

After a twenty minute presentation of his life and career as an architect, George will spend a further ten minutes answering questions from the audience.

“Our event will both spotlight and celebrate the positive things that are going on in the region involving young people and to encourage everyone to have hope and faith in the future,” says Sylvia Walters, North East Director of the Premier Christian Media group. “We hope to inspire young people to use their God-given talents to develop their full potential in both their private lives and work.”
