A Concert presented by the Priory Park Singers as a City of Culture Concert held in St Mary's Parish Church, Beverley on Saturday 20th May 2017 commencing 7.30 pm Tickets are £7.00 and all the profits go towards the St Mary's Church Restoration Appeal.

The music that will be presented by the singers will be from musicals and single piece popular music such as Fields of Gold, You Raise Me up, Rhythm of Life, Razzle Dazzle and some very popular slavery songs, also Go Down Moses and Every time we feel the spirit. The choir will also present some of the Queens favourite pieces of music such as White Cliffs of Dover and Leaning on a Lampost. Priory Park Singers have a reputation for singing varied and diverse music and the singing in 4 and 6 part harmony is of a very good standard.

This concert is the first time the choir have sung in St Mary's Church and indeed in Beverley, they have for the last 4 years entertained at Sewerby Hall and the York Guildhall to take part in Aida and Nabucco.
