Beverley St Mary's CE VC Primary has been given the ‘Outstanding’ grade in its recent SIAMS inspection.
SIAMS (Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools) evaluates the distinctiveness and effectiveness of the school as a Church of England school, and complements the Ofsted inspections of Church Schools.
The SIAMS inspector for Beverley St Mary's Primary School said that the school's Christian values are deeply embedded and nurture every pupil’s good academic achievement and personal development, and there is a highly collaborative approach to collective worship which results in consistently meaningful and vibrant worship at the heart of school life.
