We regret to announce that the Revd Canon Gerald Pearce, who had the Archbishop's Permission to Officiate, died on Tuesday 24th March.
Canon Pearce was Rector of Sigglesthorne and Rise with Nunkeeling and Bewholme from 1984 to 1991, and Rural Dean of North Holderness from 1986 to 1990. He retired and had Permission to Officiate from 1991, and was the Retired Clergy and Widows Officer for the East Riding from 1991 to 2011.
Canon Pearce's funeral will be at St Gregory's Minster Kirkdale on Friday 17th April 11am at Kirkdale, followed by the cremation (family only) at Octon. Canon Pearce is survived by his wife Diana.
