Egton CofE VA Primary School has been given the ‘Outstanding’ grade in its recent SIAMS inspection.
SIAMS (Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools) evaluates the distinctiveness and effectiveness of the school as a Church of England school, and complements the Ofsted inspections of Church Schools.
The SIAMS inspector for Egton CofE VA Primary School said "within this school’s strong, inclusive and nurturing Christian ethos, children grow in confidence and their love of learning together. The worshipping life of this community, where prayer is important, enriches the daily lives and spiritual journey of everyone."
