Elvington CofE Primary School has been given the ‘Outstanding’ grade in its recent SIAMS inspection.

SIAMS (Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools) evaluates the distinctiveness and effectiveness of the school as a Church of England school, and complements the Ofsted inspections of Church Schools.

The SIAMS inspector for Elvington CofE Primary School said it is an outstanding school that truly reflects its Christian foundation. Its key values of thankfulness, friendship, trust, endurance and compassion are clearly rooted in a strong Christian tradition which is at the heart of the school, and the Christian environment enables pupils to engage with collective worship which honours the Anglican tradition.

Congratulations to all at Elvington CofE Primary School!
