Market Weighton CE VC Junior School has been given the ‘Outstanding’ grade in its recent SIAMS inspection.
SIAMS (Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools) evaluates the distinctiveness and effectiveness of the school as a Church of England school, and complements the Ofsted inspections of Church Schools.
The SIAMS inspector for Market Weighton CE VC Junior School said the "Excellent leadership is based securely on Christian values and Biblical teachin, children make outstanding academic progress and form stable loving relationships in an atmosphere where the explicitly Christian ethos underpins all that the school does, and children have a strong sense of individual responsibility and take good care of each other".
