Selby Abbey CofE Primary School has been given the ‘Outstanding’ grade in its recent SIAMS inspection.
SIAMS (Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools) evaluates the distinctiveness and effectiveness of the school as a Church of England school, and complements the Ofsted inspections of Church Schools.
The SIAMS inspector for Selby Abbey CofE Primary School said an inspired Christian vision, interpreted and incorporated throughout the school, has established a unity of purpose resulting in pupils acquiring a highly developed spirituality.
