When SpecSort visited Oussouye in Senegal, they were able to pass on t-shirts to children in the area. The t-shirts were provided by the Sheriff Hutton Jumblies, part of St Helen and the Holy Cross, Sheriff Hutton.

Judy Diatta passed on the t-shirts, as part of her work with SpecSort, a charity which collects, cleans and measures unwanted spectacles so that they can be reused by people in poor countries who have no other source of help. She said, “They were much appreciated, and the children were so excitable and were all over the place - some of them only 3 and 4 years old. There were enough tee shirts to share with the children big enough to wear them!”
