We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Christian with creative skills and experience working with children to lead, develop and support activities with children (0-13) and their families within the parish.

Through prayer and with sensitivity to the Holy Spirit, the successful candidate will help All Saints and St Andrew’s in the fulfilment of our mission statement: ‘Knowing Jesus and making Him known in our community and beyond’. This will be in partnership with the clergy, the Youth and Children’s Leader and volunteers, in order that children and their families have the opportunity to hear and respond to the good news of Jesus Christ and grow as His followers as part of the church. There will be a mixture of church, school and community-based ministry.

All Saints and St Andrew’s is a family-friendly charismatic, evangelical Anglican church (one church with two buildings) in Huntington, Earswick and New Earswick, about two miles from the centre of York.

An Occupational Requirement exists for the post-holder to be a Christian in accordance with the Equality Act 2010. An appointment is conditional on entitlement to work in the UK. The post is subject to an Enhanced DBS disclosure.
