5 Ways to Get Involved

There are many ways for you to get involved in our Diocesan Generosity Week, taking place between 25th September - 2nd October 2022. Here are our top 5 ideas!

1. Sign up receive daily content to your inbox

Each day of Generosity Week we will send a bite-sized mailing to your inbox, including prayers, reflections on the day's theme, a short video and ideas for you to engage with generosity. Click here to sign up!

2. Engage with podcasts and videos

These short daily videos are great to watch over your morning coffee, including input from the Archbishop of York and reflection videos from across our diocese. You can also listen to a podcast series from the Church of England, with different people sharing short passages of scripture and a key verse, and reflecting on what it means in their Christian life. Each podcast is accompanied by a daily reflection and activity to help us reflect on God’s generosity and activate it in our daily lives. Click here to listen!

4. Share your generosity stories

We'd love to hear from you! Sharing our stories and our experiences of giving and receiving generosity is a wonderful way of growing in faith together and giving thanks. You could share your stories on social media, or create little videos, or just email us by clicking here.

5. Grow your giving

As we take time to explore generosity, it provides us with a good opportunity to reflect on our own giving, the way we use the resources entrusted to us, and how our faith impacts our practices of giving away. You could also use this as an opportunity to reflect on giving across your church community, or to promote the Parish Giving Scheme - click here for more information on the Parish Giving Scheme.
