The annual Diocesan Readers' Retreat takes place in the gorgeous setting of Wydale Hall with delicious fare from tea-time on Friday 11 October through to lunch on Sunday 13 October.

It will be led by Bishop David Wilbourne, who complemented a very rooted ministry in the Diocese of York with eight years serving in South Wales. He is an experienced retreat leader, author and hilarious after-dinner speaker, sometimes hailed as the Church of England’s version of Alan Bennett.

The theme of the retreat will be Meeting Christ, including the following four talks:

1. Meeting Christ in Prayer

2. Meeting Christ in Scripture

3. Meeting Christ in Family

4. Meeting Christ in the End
