This meeting is being organized in partnership with the national charity Remembering Srebrenica and forms part of the annual commemorations in the City for the men and boys who were killed during the Srebrenica genocide. At this meeting Dr Catherine Baker will lead a discussion on:

The misuse of religion in ethnic conflict with particular reference to the Srebrenica massacre of 1995.

Please note that the meeting will start with a short general meeting at which it is proposed that a revised constitution be adopted.

The revised constitution is available to view on HERI’s website. The revision is designed to clarify the rules (eg what constitutes membership, voting rules at AGM, size of committee) by which this informal association operates. Please note that we are not at present, and are not currently intending to become, a corporate body.
