St Barnabas' Curate the Revd Mark Walley says, "We’re doing it because we believe that part of the command to love our neighbour includes listening to different perspectives and thinking through who we vote for.
"We’re glad that we’ve got the opportunity to welcome the candidates in and hear directly from them what their vision is for Middlesbrough and the UK.
"Bishop of Whitby Paul Ferguson has generously agreed to chair the debate and keep it all in order."
The hustings will run from 6.30pm - 8.30pm. Attendees will be asked to submit questions from 6:30pm before the debate starts at 7.00pm.
