The Rogationtide Service at Farlington – a service of blessing for the crops, farm animals and the work of farmers – will be on Sunday, May 12th at 3pm and be held at Farlington Grange Farm which is on the road between Farlington and Sheriff Hutton; the postcode is YO61 1NR (it will be signposted).
The service will take place in and around the farm and after the service, there will be an afternoon tea (£5 adults, children free) for all to enjoy.
Come along for this service for a farming community, meet the animals and enjoy the tea!
Please note this is a working farm - wear sensible footwear, wellingtons if very wet.
Adults and children will have an opportunity to meet the cattle, sheep and lambs so families are more than welcome.
