THE CROWN OF ALL CREATION?

CHRISTIANS AND CLIMATE CHANGE

"From the beginning you have created all things and all your works echo the silent music of your praise. In the fullness of time you made us in your image, the crown of all creation." (Common Worship, Eucharistic Prayer G)

However, today Christians are becoming urgently aware of humanity's detrimental effect on other creatures. Are we really the crown of all creation? In the face of Climate Change, what does it mean to be created in God's image?
