To help us prepare for when our church buildings re-open, the Generous Giving Team are running a series of webinars to help us encourage safe giving.

Over the next few weeks, the team will be dedicating sessions on particular aspects of giving, allowing time to focus on best practice, getting the most out of mechanisms, and embedding a culture where generosity can flourish.

"The webinars we are offering in the coming weeks are all shaped to respond to the current need." comments Sammi Tooze, Generous Giving Adviser.

"Having led a successful webinar series in the summer, we have taken on board feedback we received from attendees, and have planned these sessions according to what those people said they'd find most helpful in future.

"We're so pleased that the upcoming session on Monday 1st February is being hosted by the Church of England nationally, exploring best practice on reviewing giving in our churches, including the most effective ways to lead giving programmes".

The preparations we make now to embed good giving practice will allow us all to better receive income and gifts which may have suffered in recent months, and will stand us in good stead for encouraging safe and accessible giving once we can safely welcome people into our buildings again.
