Eight new Honorary Canons will be collated, admitted and installed as members of the College of Canons of York Minster on Sunday 25th April. The Installations will take place within a service of Choral Evensong and will be livestreamed. The Honorary Canons elect will be collated and admitted prior to being installed by The Archbishop of York, Stephen Cottrell.

The funeral of the Rt Revd Humphrey Taylor, who was Suffragan Bishop of Selby in the Diocese of York from 1991 to 2003, will be at 2.00pm on Thursday 4th March near his home in in Bristol. Bishop Humphrey died last week at the age of 82.
