The Bishop of Hull has invited all those in and around the city directly impacted by the recent revelations regarding Legacy Independent Funeral Directors to join with her in vigil and lament on Saturday 23rd March at 7.00pm at Hull Minster.
'Vigil and Lament - honouring our lost loved ones' will offer prayer and silence, and the opportunity to light a candle for a particular loved one or as a sign of support for all those distressed or worried by the unfolding story of Legacy Independent Funeral Directors.
Bishop of Hull the Rt Revd Dr Eleanor Sanderson said, "We are sacred to God in life and death; the church continues to be available and to work with the Humberside Police and support agencies to ensure the dignity and honour of those who have died and those who love them are upheld.”
