The Diocese of York Annual Education Conference for School Leaders, MAT CEOs, Clergy and Governors
The Annual Education Conference takes place on Thursday 19th June 2023, 9.00am – 3.30pm at Burn Hall Hotel, Tollerton Road, Huby, York, YO61 1JB.
The theme this year is Church schools: Identifying disadvantage in a variety of contexts so all can flourish
The speakers are now confirmed as;
The Rt Revd Barry Hill,
Bishop of Whitby and Chair of the Diocesan Board of Education
Andrew Read, Former Diocesan Director of Education in the Diocese of Ely
Please come and join us to meet with the new Bishop of Whitby and Chair of the Board of Education, Barry Hill , to hear about ‘Doing Difficult’ by Andrew Read [previously Director of Education in the Diocese of Ely], meet Mari Palmer, the new Diocesan Director of Education in the Diocese of York, along with Education Team members. There will also be some other useful information giving sessions along with a pupil led Collective Worship.
There will also be plenty of time for networking and having the space to reflect on this important theme. Please do join us if you can.
