CCLA Investment Training for Parishes
May 11 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Join CCLA for an engaging and practical workshop looking at how our attitudes to risk, duty & emotion get in the way of good investment. This interactive session is designed for PCC members and church leaders who want to deepen their understanding of financial strategy, consider whether to invest or remain in cash, and reflect on biblically inspired stewardship.
Through academic papers, a century of investment data, live polls, and open discussion, you’ll discover how to balance long-term growth with prudent risk management, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and ensure your investment approach truly supports your church’s mission in a biblically consistent way. Whether you’re completely new to investing or looking to refresh your knowledge, you’ll leave with practical insights and resources to help you steward your church’s assets with confidence for the long term.
After a short break, we will continue with an optional 30-minute review of CCLA’s recent performance for clients, providing explanations of 2025’s returns, what the team is doing about them, and their confidence in the process and portfolios looking ahead. As part of this, there will also be an opportunity to ask questions about the recent merger with Jupiter, if of interest.
