Distinctively Effective Governance

PLEASE NOTE – OUR SESSIONS ARE ONLY FOR THOSE WORKING IN AND WITH CE SCHOOLS IN THE DIOCESE OF YORK

This session is designed for all governors and includes further exploration of how governors can support the development of their school as a Church school. This links particularly to governors’ core functions of ensuring clarity of vision, ethos and strategic direction and supporting leaders and holding them to account.

This session explores:

• The development of theologically rooted Church school vision
• Exploring how the Church school vision drives provision
• The principles of effective governance in a Church school with a particular emphasis on effective monitoring and evaluation strategies.

This session is held online via Zoom.
