Flourishing for all – Anti-bullying guidance for Leaders & Governors

PLEASE NOTE – OUR SESSIONS ARE ONLY FOR THOSE WORKING IN AND WITH CE SCHOOLS IN THE DIOCESE OF YORK

This session is designed for school leaders and all governors in CE schools in the Diocese of York and include a more in depth look at how leaders & governors can support the development of their school as a Church school in some key area of Flourishing for All – Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Justice.

This session will focus on:

• Section A – an overview an general principles of the Church of England Anti-bullying guidance in schools.
• Section B – guidance for preventing and tackling homophobic, biphobic and transphobic bullying in schools.

This session is held online via Zoom.

• Wednesday 14th October 2026, 5.00pm-7.00pm

Cost

• These sessions are provided free of charge for schools but booking is required, via the Eventbrite link.

There will be a 2nd session on Wednesday 10th March (with a different focus) and requires booking on separately and a 3rd, subject to the release of some documents, date TBC.
