RE Leadership Course

PLEASE NOTE – OUR SESSIONS ARE ONLY FOR THOSE WORKING IN AND WITH SCHOOLS IN THE DIOCESE OF YORK

A leadership course aimed at subject leaders of RE in church schools in the Diocese of York in both primary and secondary contexts.

Themes include:

• Context of Religious Education and Roles and Responsibilities of the RE subject leader.
• Thinking about curriculum.
• Developing subject knowledge and enhancing provision.
• Christianity as a global living faith.
• Assessment and monitoring

This training day will take place on Tuesday 23rd February 2027, from 9.30am to 3.15pm at the Diocesan Office, Amy Johnson Way, York, YO30 4XT and will include a buffet lunch.

Cost;

• £100 per person for schools in the SLA
• £125 per person for schools not in the SLA
