The Revd Canon Mark Carey

Ordained in his late twenties, Mark has served in a wide range of parish settings across Yorkshire. After curacies in Wakefield and Sheffield, he became incumbent of a semi-rural parish in north Sheffield.

Mark later led a 10-year process of parochial reorganisation, which included planting Kairos Network Church to serve the Harrogate Deanery. Prior to this role, he spent eight years in Bridlington, serving as vicar of a network of churches across seven locations and 11 worshipping communities.

He loves Arsenal, coffee, beer, and Jesus — though not necessarily in that order.
