The Revd Glyn Diggins, who has the Archbishop’s Permission to Officiate, has been appointed as Rector of Brayton (near Selby). He will be collated and inducted by the Bishop of Selby in St Wilfrid’s, Brayton on Monday, 31st March 2025 at 7.30pm.

The Revd Paul Jackson has been reappointed as Chaplain to the Order of the Holy Paraclete, Whitby, for a further year.

The Revd Peter Kay, Life Events Minister in Goole in the Diocese of Sheffield, has been appointed as Vicar of the Benefice of Hertford. He will be instituted by the Bishop of Hull in All Saints’, Hunmanby on Thursday 1st May, 2025 at 7.30pm.

The Revd David Messer’s appointment as Interim Minister of Skirlaugh, Catwick, Long Riston, Rise, Swine with Ellerby; Sigglesthorne with Nunkeeling and Bewholme and Area Dean of North Holderness has been renewed for a further term of three years; he continues as Area Dean. Mr Messer will be licensed by the Bishop of Hull in a private ceremony at Hullen House on Thursday 6 March, 2025 at 10:00am.

The Revd Martyn Westby, Team Vicar in the Benefice of Drypool, Hull, will retire from the 23rd March 2025. His final service will be on Sunday 23rd March 2025 in St Columba, Drypool, at a time to be confirmed.
