The Revd Dr Gillian Boag‑Munroe, Assistant Curate for the Benefice of Hinderwell, Roxby and Staithes with Lythe, Ugthorpe and Sandsend, will be licensed as Assistant Curate (known locally as Curate in Charge) for the Benefice of Easington with Liverton until May 2027. The licensing by the Bishop of Whitby will be held in All Saints, Easington on Tuesday 26th May 2026 at 7.00pm.

The Revd Melanie Burnside, Priest‑in‑Charge of the Helmsley and Upper Ryedale Benefices, has been appointed Vicar of the Helmsley and Upper Ryedale Benefices. The licensing by the Bishop of Whitby will be held in the Parish Church of All Saints, Helmsley on Monday 23rd March at 7.00pm.

The Revd Clive Hall has been re‑appointed as Associate Vicar (Interim Minister) of the South Holderness Coast Benefice, with particular responsibility for the Parish of Withernsea with Owthorne, for a period of three years. The relicensing by the Bishop of Hull will be held in a private ceremony at Hullen House on Thursday 21st May 2026.

The Revd Nicky Gladstone, Assistant Curate of York All Saints, Pavement with St Crux and St Michael Spurriergate; York St Denys; York St Helen Stonegate with St Martin Coney Street; and York St Olave with St Giles, resigned on Sunday 11th January 2026. She continues in her roles as Part‑Time Prison Anglican Chaplain at HMP Deerbolt and HMP Millsike.

The Revd Rebecca Haughty, Vicar of the Benefice of Coatham and Dormanstown, has resigned to be Rector of St Ninian’s Church and Christ Church, Dalbeattie in the Scottish Episcopal Church from Thursday 16th April 2026. Her final service will take place on Sunday 5th April 2026.

The Revd Alisdair Laird, Vicar of the Benefice of Easington with Skeffling, Keyingham, Ottringham, Patrington, Welwick and Winestead, has been re‑appointed for a further three years to his interim roles: Interim Priest‑in‑Charge of Burstwick, Burton Pidsea, Humbleton with Elsternwick, Halsham and Thorngumbald; Interim Assistant Curate of Hedon, Paull, Sproatley and Preston in Holderness; and Interim Priest‑in‑Charge of the South Holderness Coast. The relicensing by the Bishop of Hull will be held in a private ceremony at Hullen House on Thursday 7th May 2026.

The Revd Geoff Mumford, Vicar of the Benefices of Askham Bryan, Bolton Percy with Colton and Copmanthorpe, has been additionally appointed Assistant Curate of the Benefices of Acaster Malbis and Appleton Roebuck with Acaster Selby (held in plurality). The licensing by the Bishop of Selby will be held in the Parish Church of Holy Trinity, Acaster Malbis on Monday 13th April 2026 at 7.30pm.

The Revd Laura Mumford, Diocesan Growing Younger Enabler in the Diocese of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich, has been appointed as Interim Priest‑in‑Charge of the Benefices of Heslington and York St Hilda (held in plurality), and part‑time Chaplain at Archbishop Holgate’s CE Academy, for a period of three years. The licensing by the Bishop of Selby will be held in the Parish Church of St Paul’s, Heslington on Wednesday 18th March 2026 at 7.30pm.
