What are we doing?
We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) when building and editing the website. We aim to achieve AA standard across all of our pages – you can find out more about the standards and criteria here: ialabs.ie/what-is-the-difference-between-wcag-a-aa-and-aaa.
Below are some examples of how we do this:
- We ensure that we consistently use good colour contrast, to make text and images legible.
- The site is keyboard navigable.
- The content is appropriate for screen readers.
We frequently test the site to ensure that is still meets the WCAG standards. We recognise, however, that there may be issues that we have missed.
